InventHelp Inventor Develops Means to Conceal the Metal Rod of a Prosthetic (SHA-1137)

7Newswire

PITTSBURGHJune 24, 2024 /7Newswire — “My brother has an artificial leg and due to lack of confidence because of the rod being visible he would not go out very often. I thought there should be a simple way to conceal it,” said an inventor, from Moultrie, Ga., “so I invented the MAGIC LEG. My design would prevent the rod from being visible, and it would provide an alternative to full prosthetic legs which are extremely expensive.”

The invention provides an effective way for amputees to conceal the metal rod of a prosthetic. In doing so, it would fill in the space in a pant leg or shirt sleeve, so the prosthetic is less noticeable. As a result, it eliminates the rod from garnering a great deal of attention, and it could provide added confidence. The invention features a cost-effective design that is easy to place so it is ideal for amputees. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.

The original design was submitted to the Savannah sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
